The Organizing Committee of HKIDEAS 2026 cordially invites researchers, clinicians, and dental professionals to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the Congress.
Abstracts covering the topics listed below are welcome. Outstanding submissions will be selected for presentation during the Congress.

Mode of Presentation & Evaluation
All accepted abstracts will be presented in poster format. Posters will be displayed on physical boards and e-poster stations and will be accessible throughout the Congress.
Posters will be evaluated by a panel of judges from the Organizing Committee based on the following criteria:
- Interest – Originality, relevance, and significance of the topic
- Scientific Quality & Novelty – Potential impact on clinical practice, research, education, or policy
- Visual Presentation – Clarity, organization, and design of the poster
- Unique Features – Elements that enhance audience engagement
Awards
Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding poster presentations:
- Best Poster – USD 1,000
- 1st Runner-up – USD 800
- 2nd Runner-up – USD 600
Merit Award(s) may also be presented to recognize exceptional contributions (non-monetary).
All awards will be presented during the Congress.
Accepted presenters will receive a Certificate of Participation by email after the event.

- Submission deadline: 30 May 2026
- The online submission system will close after the deadline
- Abstracts must be submitted exclusively via www.hkideas.org
- All abstracts must be written in English
- Maximum word limit: 300 words
Abstract Preparation Guidelines
Abstracts should include the following components:
TITLE, AUTHOR(S), PRESENTER, INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS, CONCLUSION
(Structured headings are optional.)
Formatting requirements:
- The title must be in CAPITAL LETTERS and bold
- Avoid abbreviations in the title
- Author names should be written with initials first (e.g. E. Lau)
- Institutional details must include Department, Institution, Country
Accepted abstracts may be published in Congress promotional materials, including the website and printed brochures.
Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will not be considered.
Authors must ensure that all submitted content does not infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
Acknowledgement & Notification
All submissions will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email.

Notification of acceptance will be sent in July 2026, together with poster preparation instructions.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make the final decision on all abstract submissions.
Registration for Accepted Presenters
Authors and co-authors of accepted abstracts will be eligible for the early-bird registration rate.
